The Will Rothman Family Chaplaincy program began in 1995 and was named in honor of Will and Anne Rothman’s generous lead gift. Today the Will Rothman Family Chaplaincy program is staffed by full-time Chaplain and ordained minister, Rev. Mark Weiler, Master of Divinity & Doctorate in Ministry; part-time Chaplains Rev. Randy Jones, Master of Divinity; Carol Hurley-Turk, Master of Divinity; and part-time administrative assistant, Deana Flessner.
Chaplains make rounds on patient care units day and night. They offer spiritual care to every person who requests it, regardless of faith or cultural background. They make pre-surgery visits and involve local clergy upon request. A staff chaplain is on site or on call 24 per day for trauma and death consults.
