40th Annual NCMC Foundation Golf Tournament

It’s a big year here at the NCMC Foundation!  We are pleased to announce the 40th Annual NCMC Foundation Golf Tournament will be held on Monday, June 13, 2022 at the Greeley Country Club, 4500 West 10th Street, Greeley. This year’s Tournament Chair is James Pisaturo of First FarmBank.

We invite you to join us by participating as a corporate sponsor at one of the most distinguished golf fundraising events in our community. Proceeds from the tournament will directly benefit Heart Safe City.

In 2012, the NCMC Foundation partnered with the City of Greeley, Greeley Fire Department, Banner NCMC Paramedic Services, and NCMC’s CardioVascular Institute in the Heart Safe City initiative. The Heart Safe City designation is a community-wide effort to educate citizens on the dangers of sudden cardiac arrest. Identifying symptoms, learning how to administer cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR), and using automated external defibrillators (AEDs) are major components of the Heart Safe City designation.

The Heart Safe City initiative also called for the placement of AEDs in public gathering spots throughout our community. These easy-to-use AEDs are equipped with simple step-by-step user instructions and are maintained by LifeMed Safety. In 2013, Greeley became the second city in Colorado to officially earn the Heart Safe City distinction. Since 2013, over 1,000 community members have been trained in CPR through this program, and many AEDs are now in service throughout Weld County. The goal of the Heart Safe City program is to continue raising funds to provide community wide CPR training and service the existing AEDs.
