Hansen Nursing

The late Mildred S. Hansen, former owner and publisher of the Greeley Tribune, left much of her estate in the form of scholarships to several organizations throughout the community. The North Colorado Medical Center Foundation was one recipient of her remarkable generosity.

To be considered for the Hansen Nursing Scholarship, an applicant must be a non-traditional student (age 25 or older) who has obtained a bachelor's degree in a course of study other than nursing. Applicant must also have been accepted into the nursing program at the University of Northern Colorado. Hansen Nursing Scholarship applicants are not eligible to apply for the Hansen Nursing Program Scholarship. PVH Accelerated Nursing Program students are not eligible for this scholarship. Applicant must be a citizen of the United States of America. Recipient will receive assistance with tuition, books, and fees, and a stipend for living expenses.
